What it does
Twincast does not post for you. It takes over the boring part: downloading and carrying over.
Post grid and filters
All, not shared, video and photo. The app remembers which post you already moved to TikTok.
Caption converter
@mentions are removed, Instagram-specific phrases such as "link in bio" are cleaned up, and your own hashtags are appended.
Video and album support
Reels, videos and multi-image posts are transferred. If TikTok rejects the file, it is downscaled and retried automatically.

Instagram's official API and TikTok's Share Kit. No password is stored, nothing is scraped.
Your posts stay on your device
Twincast has no user database. On our own server there is exactly one operation: turning the Instagram login code into an access token — it happens instantly and nothing is stored. Ads are the only other outside connection the app makes.
- The access token is stored encrypted on your phone, with the Android Keystore.
- The post list and the downloaded files exist only on your device.
- No analytics, no third-party tracking; your posts never reach any server.
- "Disconnect" in the settings screen deletes everything in one tap.
- A single Google AdMob ad is shown before sharing — a one-time purchase removes it for good.

Does it post automatically for me?
No. Twincast hands the media to the TikTok editor; you make the decision to publish inside TikTok. That is deliberate: it is what TikTok's rules require, and you should be the one deciding which post goes out and when.
Do I type my Instagram password?
You only type your password on Instagram's own login screen; Twincast never sees it. The app asks for permission to read your own posts, nothing more.
Why is the caption not filled in automatically?
TikTok does not let apps send the caption. So Twincast converts it and copies it to your clipboard; you just paste it into the caption field in the TikTok editor.
Can I download other people's posts?
No. Twincast only reaches the posts of the account you connect. Downloading someone else's content is problematic for both copyright and platform rules, so it is deliberately out of scope.
Why is a professional account required?
Instagram's post-reading API is only open to business and creator accounts. You can switch to a professional account with one tap from Settings in the Instagram app.
Is it paid?
The app is a paid download. A single full-screen ad is shown when you tap "Share on TikTok"; there are no ads anywhere else. If you do not like ads you can remove them permanently with a one-time purchase under Settings → Ads. The purchase is tied to your Google account and comes back on a new device with "Restore purchase".
